- HOLDS 150 LB WHEN SECURELY MOUNTED: 18-gauge 430 stainless steel. Rated capacity assumes the brackets are fixed into wall studs or into a solid backer board screwed across the studs, with the load spread evenly - do not hang a loaded shelf from plasterboard anchors alone. Hand-tighten the nuts onto the welded studs; do not overtighten.
- 430 STAINLESS - AND YES, A MAGNET STICKS: A magnet will stick to it: 430 is a ferritic stainless grade, so that is normal and does not mean it is not stainless. It is rust resistant and easy to wipe down, for indoor use.

Hand-tighten the nuts onto the welded studs; do not overtighten. A 1 in. rear backsplash keeps items from sliding off behind the shelf, and the bullnose front edge is rounded and smooth.
