1/2-Ton Lifting Power at Just 6.8 lb
The JET JLP-050A-10 Mini-Puller lifts or pulls up to 1,000 lb, hangs in 10-1/16 in. of headroom, and is proof-tested to 125% of rated capacity, sized for jobs where a full-size hoist is more than you need.
Twin-Pawl Weston-Style Brake
An enclosed automatic brake uses two opposing pawls that split the load across opposite sides of the ratchet gear for greater load security.
Brake Wear Indicator
A gauge on the handwheel moves as the friction discs wear, so you can see when the brake is due for service.
Up, Neutral, Down
A three-position selector switches between lifting and lowering. In neutral, with no load attached, the chain free-wheels for fast positioning.
Hooks That Warn You
Industrial-rated alloy steel hooks rotate 360° and slowly stretch to signal an overload. Cast-steel safety latches are secured with Allen screws and lock nuts.

It's rated for 1/2 ton (1,000 lb). Each hoist is proof-tested to 125% of that rating and ships with a test certificate, but never load it beyond 1,000 lb.
No. The carton includes the hoist with 10 ft of load chain and hooks, the operating and parts manual, a test certificate, and a product registration card.
Yes. Set the selector to UP to raise, DN to lower, or N to free-chain with no load. Lifting the full 1,000 lb rated load takes about 86 lb of pull on the 8-7/16 in. lever.
Yes, if the engine plus slings and attachments totals 1,000 lb or less and the hoist hangs from a support rated for the load. Wrap the engine with slings, not the load chain.
The steel body is powder-coated and the Grade 80 chain is black-oxide coated for corrosion resistance, but it isn't weatherproof. Cover it or bring it inside after use and store it dry.
