- Heavy-duty die-cast housing and durable spring-loaded steel cutting wheels apply constant pressure resulting in fast straight cuts; The steel cutting wheel can cut a variety of pipe and tubing materials including aluminum, brass, copper, hard rubber, and plastic.
- Quickly cuts pipe and tubing with a diameter of 1/2 inch (12.7 mm) and leaves clean even edges for a snug fit with fittings and seals; The small size is great for cutting in small confined spaces where saws can't fit and the directional grip helps prevent slipping in wet hands.
- Plumbers use Ullman tubing cutters to cut copper tubing for water supply line installations and repairs, trimming PEX tubing to fit push-to-connect or crimp fittings, and to cut PVC pipe when installing bathtubs, sinks, showers, and toilets.
- C-type tubing cutters help HVAC technicians save time when cutting copper refrigerant lines used in split AC systems or mini-splits, trimming aluminum tubing in evaporator coil installations, and preparing pipe ends for flaring or brazing in refrigerant circuits.
